Yujin was solid and held her own, but Jang Dong Min and Jang Jin were the MVPs. Joo Hyun Young was also great. I expected Jeon Somin to go wild, but her role didn't help. I hope they make a season 6; it was fun trying to guess the murderer for each case.

Finished Crime Scene Zero. Netflix money obviously went into the huge sets created for each case this season, but I think I still enjoyed Crime Scene Returns more. I've heard season 3 is the best, so I kinda want to go and watch seasons 1, 2, and 3 in order. Not a big priority for me right now tho.

A serious topic covered with a light romcom style. It was interesting seeing Bae Doo Na being bright and cute; I've only seen her in more somber or stern roles (Broker, Tunnel, As One). Also, the ML played Ah Gwi in Tazza. Not a must-watch, but straightforward and entertaining. 8.5/10.

Ralral and Yong Jin, Lee Jun Young, and DinDin were my favorite performances of the second half. Everyone did a great job; the awards don't really matter that much. These big music projects are always so successful; I hope HDYP can do them more often.

After watching Crime Scene Returns and waiting for the end of Crime Scene Zero, I picked Escape Simulator up from the Steam Autumn Sale. I literally can't play for more than an hour at a time. I feel like I've run out of brain power after like 5 rooms. The puzzles are fun and not too difficult.

I watched 4 episodes of Genie, Make a Wish before deciding to drop it. The story feels messy and disjointed. Ki Ka Young is too robotic, even for a psychopath. This type of humor is too silly/goofy for my liking. Strong cast, but poor execution. Very disappointing.

I was expecting to watch the season 2 finale of Kaiju No. 8 today, but apparently that was last week's episode. No episode this week. Oh, well. I might swap to the manga. I wanted to watch the anime for the cool fight scenes, but the pace is too slow.

Yeah, it's super weak to move the plot forward like that, but I'm guessing the writer just used it as an convenient excuse to return to Borderland. Resolve everything in the end, or die trying. She also doesn't know she's pregnant yet.

Finished Tempest. 4 episodes into Crime Scene Zero. CSR was fun; CSZ is kinda meh so far. Genie, Make a Wish releases on Friday. Last episode of Kaiju No. 8 on Saturday. A couple more weeks until Romantics Anonymous. Physical: Asia and PoE 3.27 also some time this month. Busy busy.

Spy Espionage Thriller with high production value that falls short. First few episodes were engaging then loses focus. Not enough tension towards the end despite the threat of nuclear war. Incredible chemistry between Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won. Actual evil mother-in-law. 8.5/10. #kdrama

The '80s MBC Seoul Song Festival

From the first half of performances, I enjoyed Park Young Gyu, Liz, and Yoon Do Hyun the most, just based on vibes. The subtitles didn't have lyrics, so it was hard connecting with any of the songs.

I did not expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did. Vibrant and crisp visuals. Outstanding music. Some super catchy; others emotionally moving. Very well-executed overall. Lots of tiny details make it shine for me. Rujinu gave me a good chuckle. Derpy is adorable. 10/10.

Spoke too soon when I made this post. Symptoms keep going away and coming back. All things considered, it's not that bad. Just gotta make sure I keep drinking water.

Currently watching Crime Scene Returns, before starting Crime Scene Zero. Also planning to watch KPDH for the first time tonight.

Alice in Borderland Season 3

The S2 finale was a satisfiying ending for the story, but S3 throws Arisu right back into Borderland to save his wife, Usagi. I couldn't stop watching; 6 episodes flew by quickly. Interesting games. Fun new characters. Loved seeing the old characters. 10/10. #jdrama

Finally finished Go Ahead. I was supposed to finish it a couple days ago, but I got sick and couldn't do anything. Need to catch up on Tempest, and then start Alice in Borderland Season 3. Feeling much better compared to yesterday and hopefully the worst has passed.

A drama about facing the struggles of life, emotions, relationships with friends and with family. Many moments of joy, sadness, or anger. Heartwarming and endearing. There were so many scenes that felt real and relatable. Li Hai Chao is the best dad. 9/10. #cdrama

I didn't have anyone else to choose until I was reminded Sung Deok Sun became a flight attendant in Reply 1988. Even though I love Reply 1988, I still prefer Pyung Hwa and Ro Woon's story in King the Land.
