One thing to learn from Thinking in Bets by @annieduke.com is how every product-related decision is a bet.
Building a feature, defining experiments, scoping MVP, you name it.
What follows, in the vast majority of cases, smaller bet will be smarter.
In other words: build less.

βWhen we finally quit, we realize we should have done it long ago.β ~ @annieduke.com
It always surprises me in how many contexts it stands true.
Pulling a plug on a new product idea? Check.
Finally, letting an underperformed go? Check.
Heck, my marriage... Check.

The highest compliment from someone who disagrees with you is not βYou were right.β Itβs βYou made me think.β
Good arguments help us recognize complexity where we once saw simplicity.
The ultimate purpose of debate is not to produce consensus. Itβs to promote critical thinking.

Thinking of making a New Yearβs resolution? Youβre in good company. Lots of people use fresh start dates like new yearβs to motivate goal pursuit.
