i have a special disdain for older folks who claim kids don't know how to go outside anymore.
firstly, these same folks are the ones inside and online complaining about it.

The irony of every panic that TikTok is turning the kids into transsexuals/CCP agents/terrorists is that everything we know about who is susceptible to misinformation and propaganda online suggests the kids are not, in fact, the problem
I worked at a college library where occasionally "fruit man" would wreak havoc by hiding fruit in the least used parts of the library. The flies and the smell would start, and we'd start to hunt, knowing it was never just one fruit.
It really was a masterstroke of propoganda to convince people that the working poor are lazier than the 1%. That, if you're struggling to get by working common jobs, it is on you for not being a hustler, not on the boss for exploiting you or the system that rewards them doing so.
Turns out Moms for Liberty are a bunch of Nazis, there was no way to know except for literally every single thing that hate group has ever done.
