SWI Prolog’s Jan Wielemaker did get the Colmerauer prize, though. So that was nice.
I've been at ICLP (Intl Conf Logic Programming) the last week. Sad to see it's completely taken over by ASP now. Last year I was at the Scryer Prolog workshop and that was much more fun to attend.
We need a new conference focusing on applications of Prolog specifically. Smaller but focused.
Ahhh... Project #MyWorld. This was the project I started and prototyped in 2005, before Russell joined me a year later. We got the whole UK being generated and streaming before we were staffed up. It was designed to "host" games - it could have been amazing.

Prolog predicates are indexed on first argument, so actually just lookup(Key, Value) is a dictionary! (one needs to use assert to insert).
