I have the foundation for maybe the best game I've ever come up with. I'm working up a prototype and testing soon. It's a game that has something to say, is hopefully fun and engaging, and leaves people talking afterward.

But I wonder if we'll all be around long enough for it to get made.

That's a great point. And for me, passing a game to the library was a case of balancing how many times I might play it again in the future versus how much space I had left in my game room.

Speaking as a publisher /and/ a designer, when I send out a review copy, my hope is that my review gets done and the copy itself gets played/used/loved. If that means they keep it - cool. When I received samples when I worked distro, games I no longer wanted or needed got donated to my flgs library.

Anyone else watching The Beauty on FX/Hulu? I'm really struggling with the trans character they introduced the other week, Clara. Not the acting or general presentation, but how the character interacts with the premise of the show (trying not to be spoilery here)
