I keep telling my deeply religious Christian friends: The separation of church and state protects your religious freedom. When you break that so that yours is the state religion, the door swings both ways. The government will be in your religion, dictating it. The founders knew this.

Neither party seems to really want the money removed. But it really does need to happen.

Rachel, why aren’t Congressional heads exploding over Musk meddling with the Treasury Department? He was not vetted by Congress and effectively a super Cabinet appointee. This is a power overreach that must be stopped immediately.

The big question is why Congress heads aren’t exploding because Musk was not vetted by them and is acting like a super cabinet member. He should not have access without Congressional approval. Trump is bypassing any process.

In my home state of Kentucky, we have a Republican legislator pushing a bill to allow children to work in factories. Who wants such a thing?? Child sweatshop labor?

I believe modern customer service departments are deliberately designed to prevent you from bothering the people who can actually solve your problems.
