It's #internationalcheetahday ! here's a bit of an old watercolor from a while back, based on that one picture of a mom and cheetah cub

5x5ft ChalkArt done at a local Christmas holiday town tree lighting ceremony event in 2017. The theme was wild Christmas and on that day back in Dec 2017 it was a Saturday, it also happened to be International Cheetah day. We had 6 hours to do a chalk drawing for the night show. It was lots of fun! I always like to add a litte creative cheer into the work for these events. I enjoyed adding greens and reds into the fur to make it extra fun. When I did street art I tried to incorporate the Endangered Animal Days by sneaking animals into my work for kids to find. It made the pieces interactive like a highlights mag seek and find. It also reminded the public about endangered animals, which was important to me. This one was more in your face about the theming. but others I'd sneak in lizards, frogs, and other little animals in. So long as it was approved by the organization that was hosting it. ^^

Cheetahs have been my favorite animal since I was a little kid. I called them "speedy floofs" growing up.
