It’s very frustrating on my end to see that a lot of opportunities that were available to older generations (lower home/rent prices and a less competitive job market) are not available to Gen Z, and when called out, are typically responded with Gen Z being entitled/lazy.

And for the record, most prisons in the US are managed in part by private equity firms, and most push for longer sentences on inmates to drive profits.

Wanting to decrease the amount of subsidiaries given to larger tech companies is reasonable and makes sense but the CHIPS act is promising and may be extremely helpful for helping factories bounce back from COVID.

However with these subsidiaries, we can create manufacturing jobs (which we sorely need) as well as ensure that the boost in the economy does not come at the cost of the environment or worse yet the small towns who NEED those manufacturing jobs.
