How are you taking care of yourself today?

After driving my partner to work in the feels like -30° I took a hot shower, put on my funeral colors, and now it is time for couch & coffee & cross stitch (& likely an audiobook).

I saw so many comments on tiktok yesterday of women starting their cycles early. The vibes are sus for sure.

It lets me in but is still pretty non-functional at this point.

I started one bookmark during school audiobooks on this dreary day, hated it with the colors I had available, so started another. I want to be deep in the fun part of one or more projects when the Monday that shall not be named comes around...

It’s fucked up that some of you are starting accounts on that Chinese social media place. For one, that website might steal your information. For another, it might be owned by a terrible person trying to undermine American democracy. For a third thing, the owner might keep lying about going to mars.

The problems we are having with TikTok, Meta and X are the logical end of the government’s failure to recognize that the internet is a public utility and therefore to treat it and regulate it as such.
