I’m. So. Tired.

I don’t just want you to pay attention to Chicago because I want you to understand our plight. I want you to see how hard people are fighting and know wtf you’re made of. We’re not just fighting for this place. This is for all of us.

I appreciate this as an idea, but I don't see how it carries any force in reality.

"The TRiiBE asked why people should feel safe with this new executive order, given that federal agents have ignored his previous order to not wear masks within city limits."

Right!!! But also like *major side eye* when it's work they should be doing as an organization, not passing it off to the one Native to do for them.

it is an art to be able to reduce 100's of years of history and policy on top of the issue at hand into 1500 words and it only gets harder when you have to do it 600-800 words.

Pray for me cuz this one is a doozy! 🤣

We know a majority of folks don't have a working knowledge of the issues at hand and it would be fine and dandy if we didn't have to contend with word counts 🤣

Not because it's triggering, it can be, but because no matter what the issue is, you have to go back to the very beginning & provide a complete history and education that leads up to the current topic at hand because we know how sorely lacking the education system is when it comes to Native history.

Working on an article for Indigenous Peoples Day and I just want to say that I don't think folks know how difficult it is to write about Native issues.

Beyond the fact that legal immigrants and tourists can attend the Super Bowl, I find it absolutely hilarious that they're gonna have ICE harassing a bunch of rich people. Tickets are almost $10k.

Please own the libs harder.

Mario and his family are being punished for his reporting. This cruelty is meant to stifle our free press.

Last night it happened ...right under my eyebrow and i thought maybe i got bit by a mosquito lol but then another one popped up on my forehead. I took an allegra and they are still happening..like WHY?

🤣 it's just my forehead. I haven't used anything different, no new soaps or face care. This is the third time today that it's happened.

Usually when I get hives, its an all over body kind of thing. So this is weird.

Okay...on a less serious note and this is mainly for my autoimmune folks but has anyone experienced just randomly breaking out in hives in an isolated part of your body? Since yesterday, my forehead has been randomly breaking out in hives, not small ones but pretty bigs ones.

We do NOT lack the resources to do so....imagine if the federal/state governments and NGOs actually used their wealth on that instead of just laundering it through other NGOs that just make it "less" miserable to be on the streets, here's a sandwich, a tarp, some socks...good luck!

Folks always go round and round on what we can do to solve these problems and I'm always in awe of how they absolutely refuse to do anything to solve the problem which is so simply it's ridiculous. You give people what they need, no strings attached. Housing. Food. Water. Clothing, CARE.
