About four years ago when I started painting my nails for the first time, I felt so terrified of going out in public with them done.

Now I just.... go out and live my life with nail polish and makeup and fully clothed the way I want to be and I don't feel scared or awkward - I feel powerful

Really happy with these, and I've really enjoyed this style for commissions.

My manager is super conservative but he also loves being a "good boss" that people love, and he is already fond of me. I'm hoping these things will make this all go smoothly.

After I do this, I'll pretty much be completely out. I'm looking forward to having that weight lifted.

Buck Bumble has cool music & its main theme gets meme'd a lot, but I don't think people talk enough about how legitimately fun that game is.

I knew I hated wearing polos, but I underestimated just how much better not wearing one to work would make me feel.

There's no aspect of my life where I have to wear a man costume anymore. It feels so amazing.

I probably would have put Terraria on the list as well as it's the game I've sunk the most hours in (at least on Steam... I probably did waaaaaay more hours in some other games back in the early 2000s) but I did sorta get burned out on Terraria and now I always quit before I get to the moon lord

I really wanna give a special shout-out to Heat Signature as that's probably the game with the least exposure that I mentioned: the top-down space exploration/sandbox game made by Tom Francis (of Gunpoint fame) where you go into the spaceships and stuff. Some of the best emergent gameplay ever.

All I remember of the SNES version is that one time as a kid I tried it in an emulator for five minutes and was really disappointed that it was nothing like the NES version lol

I have very fond (and some nostalgically frustrating) memories of the NES version of this game. It's the same/similar to the Game Gear version shown below, whereas other versions (e.g. Super NES, Sega CD) were completely different games just using the same title. Kinda wanna try the GG version now.

It's kind of amazing how our brains contain the very essence of who we are, and you'd think that would give them some sense of self preservation, but instead they go out of their way to demonstrate how much they hate us. Like "haha what if I gave you three separate trauma dreams in one night lolol?"

A food worker just misgendered me, stopped himself, apologized and asked if he was correct or not. I thought that was super nice of him. It's the first time a stranger in public has shown me consideration regarding my gender. It was incredibly affirming. 💜
