The other day I was out in like 39-40F in a t-shirt bc I had been walking around a little indoors and was overheating already. Meanwhile all the people out for the museum event were bundled in coats, hats and scarves, complaining about how cold it was.

Sometimes I miss how certain things were pre-medication

But mostly I honestly miss running cold rather than hot because I could snuggle under mountains of blankets and wear all my comfy fun coats and sweaters in the winter months, even indoors

But I was also horrified at the prospect of the justifiably angry customer emails and phone calls I would've inevitably had to field, send along to the boss, and work on tamping down.
The worst angry customer call is the one where they're genuinely in the right with being upset

Do I feel EXTREMELY bad about the extra work it places on the shoulders of our operations manager? YES and I want to buy some apology treats on the way in tomorrow, I'd already been apologizing the entire rest of the work day.

Overheard a hallway conversation today where my intervening saved us from having a pretty bad PR disaster tomorrow and you bet your ass I'm adding it to my list of reasons why the management team should not be split between two floors of the office building
