2/ So often, though, it’s a prayer that doesn’t come true and it’s so disheartening. Every time I say that to my boss I figure he’s saying, “Yeah, right,” in his head.

On Tuesday, I have another appointment. Hopefully, this time, with the new meds, things will get better soon.

1/ If you have a chronic illness, you probably recognize the phrase, “With the new meds, hopefully things will get better soon.” It’s like a little prayer that you say before each new appointment and each new specialist.

I really think businesses should have to disclose if they are using AI images or voices in their ads. Looking at you, Amazon Photos.

I just almost accidentally stole someone’s lunch. Same bag (QT), same type of salad, same salt packets. The only difference is my QT is out of ranch, so I got Italian dressing. #worklife

Tariffs are paid by the PURCHASING entity. While high tariffs might impact the PRODUCING entity by reducing sales, if the purchaser has no other source, they will be forced to pay the higher price. The producers will make more. The purchasers will make less.

Keep up the good fight!

I am very happy about Anthem’s reversal of the ridiculous decision to put time limits on anesthesia. I had a hysterectomy on 11/21 and the procedure, which normally takes an hour, took two hours. I have Anthem through my employer. I could have been out of pocket for an hour of necessary treatment.

I went to my two week follow up for my surgery today. Whilst waiting for my doctor, I was sent to WHAMhalla by the office Christmas music. Follow up was good. Recovery is proceeding apace, other than the fact I am #whammed.
