Cheo has made it easy for parents to order food while at the ER with our kids. The directions couldn’t be clearer:

My faux stone walls are finally finished. It’s so nice to be able to move onto a new and quicker project. I’ll make a video of the process eventually. The two walls are about 25x8 feet combined and took six months of my spare time. This is such a great feeling. 🥰

This is a gift to any traditional artist who wants it. Feel free to save any use it. Any suggestions how best to share a png file publicly? That’s what I’d like to make next.

This is free to use! For artists of any stage in their journey who might not like making designs. Traditional artists are welcome to it. Please don’t sell it or claim it is your design. I left space for a seal but you could attach an image of your art or add a doodle or write a note. Art on! 🎨🖌️

I’m not ruling out an announcement that he’ll be starting a trailer park on the White House grounds and rent gold painted trailers out for profit. That, host clan meetings or drag racing. Or maybe he’ll go for a hat trick.

It’ll be fine. It’s fine. 😂 A few areas left, then to start adding depth, painted texture and a faux mortar border last of all.

One of my students asked me if she could see some of my art about a week ago so I told her where she could see some online. Yesterday she asked about this painting and wanted to know what the squirrels were doing. She said it’s her favourite. Can you tell what they’re up to?

7 yrs ago feels so distant. I was sick but thought I was getting better.

I was naive but couldn’t have known how far my health would deteriorate or of the struggles I’d face.

The only power we have is how we react to difficult situations. Celebrate small wins & never give up on what’s important.

That’s a beautiful point Denise. I want to think my dad will always be sending me guidance but for someone who questions even long held beliefs it’s difficult to reconcile without facts.

Do you believe in signs, as in after a loss in the family?

Or is it a coping mechanism & wishful thinking?

Or.. a change in perception of what’s important mixed with introspection heightened by grief?

I know what I want to let myself believe but I’m an over-thinker.

I haven’t done much today but this sunset seemed worth sharing. I hope you’ve had a great weekend.

Today I picked up a bunch of small slabs of granite, marble etc to use as panels to paint on. They’re heavy but so interesting and I hope I can work with them the way I feel inspired to. For once, I’m not putting any pressure on myself. This is meant as a fun experiment.
