Reflecting once again on how John Cale’s piano playing on Nick Drake’s “Northern Sky” is at once one of the most transcendent things I’ve ever experienced, and also probably the thirtiest most important thing to occur during his astonishing 60 year's in music. There is truly nobody else comparable.
