It’s not that there aren’t great candidates that would be amazing.
I’m not assumption, it’s an educated guess.
The US is not at a place to elect a female president yet no matter how accomplished.
It’s not at a place at this moment to elect another PoC either. Not that there aren’t great candidates.
As an outside observer, I doubt it’s going to be Newsom tbh.

Newsom is like marmite, loved or loathed no in between

A reminder McFadden once claimed £40,000 on expenses for renting a home in his constituency despite owning the home next door (which he rented out & pocketed the cash). What did you do with that £, Pat?
I think if we’re able to judge people by the company they keep, Brown seemed happy enough to keep the company of a war criminal and a sexual deviant for long enough to stay in power. He can shove his ‘regrets’ right up his ‘better together’

Palantir should have zero access to any government information, zero patient information, zero military information. Yet Starmer gifted another of Epstein’s pals access to all 3.
Starmer isn’t very good is he?
