3/3 - Smaller but unique and creative. More salvaged auto body steel pieces. A new limited slabbed gemstone collection (Sonoran Sunrise, anyone?), and new pieces rooted in road trips, mid-century design nostalgia, and personal amulets. It's going to be a productive and creative year.

2/3 - Like this new gray Fordite pendant I finished in late 2025 and will be adding to my website this weekend. I have my year of in-person shows planned out (assuming I'm accepted to them) and am ready to get to work. This year will have to, by necessity of silver prices, feature smaller pieces.

1/3 - Welcome to 2026! 2025 was, well, it was a year. It was a challenging year for me. My jewelry business did not receive nearly the attention I wanted to give it thanks to other parts of life. But, new year, new focus. In spite of sky-high silver prices, I have ideas! I have new work planned!

I agree - it's rough out there. Silver prices are insane (prices for many things are insane). It's hard to set aside the world and get into a good creative place. Trying!

Two stragglers to my site update last week. Smaller protective sterling silver najas! The thicker double crescent on the left is around 1" square: small but substantial. The one on the right is more delicate: a combined naja and dragonfly. Link in bio - click "naja pendants" on site homepage.

Sun snakes! Hand forged silver snakes basking in the bright circle of a sun. Available this weekend at the Crystal Lake Park Art Fair in Urbana, IL (10-4 both days) and added to my website after this event.

I will never stop making naja pendants.They are an ancient symbol of protection against the evil eye adopted by many cultures across history. I finished some nice heavy ones made from hand-forged sterling silver, as well as some that are smaller and lighter. For men, women, and everyone in between.

Just finished - a smaller-scale hand-forged sterling silver crop circle pendant that swings at an angle from the bail.

And in my other job I've been a professional bookbinder for 28 years and each pendant comes with a pocket-sized flexible-cover flap closure leather notebook that I made for your next adventure. (Prices from $295-$360 each plus shipping - they will be added to my site after this weekend's sale).

Finished! Rough slabbed Royston turquoise in full silver settings with cutaway backs to show the turquoise river. So glad to have this longstanding project completed.

I'll add pieces to my website after the event this weekend. Weather will be great (and it has been miserable - so grateful it decided to break for us). We all have some summer cabin fever in central Illinois with the heat and humidity of weeks on end.

Okay, it's been awhile! All those plans I had to really advance my jewelry business in the first half of 2025 were interrupted. But now it's time to get back to doing what I love in the second half of the year. Next up, the Crystal Lake Park Art Fair in Urbana, Illinois this weekend (August 2-3).
