Somehow ppl don't see how they become the subject of their own performance in their sustained prejudices.

And yes it is reoccurring and a feedback cycle for a reason. I wish non Natives would reject the pejoratives so the blanket supplantation response wouldn't be so commonplace for bigots.

Non Natives think Natives point these things out over experiencing rejection dysphoria or trying to remain relevant when we are specifically telling u that entertaining the pejorative framings is an in-group favoritism tactic.

The principle of the matter. Just like when politicians use other Native based tropes to rage bait opponents.

And I'm really giving the side eye to everyone that tried to gaslight Natives for dissenting it in the first place. When just like the "satire" defense, ppl keep saying things like "it's not a big deal! It's just Karen's on Pinterest and Instagram."

Whereas when co-opters use "Tribe" they're usually using it to appeal to in-group clique building. (Which is kind of the problem of why all these wealthy ppl have in-groups that seem immune to any kind of criticism).
