One of the games I checked out from Next fest features a title screen that is almost 1:1 the original Hollow Knight screen, I think it used the same font as well, and that is something you should not be doing.

I played two amazing action games from next fest tonight that I think we need to establish a new action game rule: Your game must have a launcher attack and the player must be able to start and finish combos in air and on the ground.

I tried it last night and it seemed interesting, and they hit their kickstarter goal too.

Just tried out a horror game that's trying to strike that balance between: give the player weapons to fight, but fighting is still resource punishing. The problem is that if you run out of ammo in a enclosed space, you're dead, as you have no means to get pass them to make progress.
