Rich people tend to be stupid. A lot of the tech oligarchs envision a future of serfs, soldiers, and themselves as an aristocracy.
None of them seem to realize that if the smoothest path to advancement is assassination, that tends to be how leadership transitions in those circumstances.
Do I trust The Regime’s attempt to pivot on vaccines and distance themselves from their anti-public health campaign?
Absolutely not. And while I don’t think a victory lap is warranted, I do believe that it is the massive pushback from all of us that is having an impact.
