It’s not an unreasonable suspicion Trump is trying to provoke Iran into launching attacks on the American Homeland
American civilians killed? Why would Trump care?
Just part of the long term Republican National strategy to mislead, lie &confuse the American People

We've spent $19 BILLION in TWO WEEKS. For a technology that's already dying. If we spent that much on solar & wind, we could reduce our energy dependency by 12.5% in a year.
We could be pollution-free and have electricity at a quarter of current prices in eight years.
Instead we have war.
People are being murdered for profit.
Rich people tend to be stupid. A lot of the tech oligarchs envision a future of serfs, soldiers, and themselves as an aristocracy.
None of them seem to realize that if the smoothest path to advancement is assassination, that tends to be how leadership transitions in those circumstances.
Do I trust The Regime’s attempt to pivot on vaccines and distance themselves from their anti-public health campaign?
Absolutely not. And while I don’t think a victory lap is warranted, I do believe that it is the massive pushback from all of us that is having an impact.
Keep going, fam. 💜
The DOJ released documents on 3/6 revealing the FBI interviewed a woman who alleged she was sexually abused by Trump, Epstein, & others when she was just 13-years old.
THEY KNEW IT! Every perpetrator, every enabler & all who covered up the truth need consequences.
EXCLUSIVE: Top Department of Homeland Security official David Harvilicz has repeatedly questioned the validity of Democratic victories at the ballot box and pushed for Republicans to overhaul electoral systems to their advantage.

I think the rising generation of young republicans is...something even the current republican party is not ready for, as evidenced by these recent clashes on Heritage, Tucker, etc. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/12/o...
I met with AI data labelers in Kenya who are organizing their colleagues to fight the brutal working conditions and horrible pay given to the workers at the "bottom of the AI supply chain." They believe the NDAs they've signed are unenforceable so are speaking out:

This is just astonishingly great reporting.
All of the crises the White House has claimed over the last 14 months were planned in advance. All of them.
And however much contempt you have for media outlets who reverently relayed Trump's claim to have no relation to Project 2025, it isn't enough.
Pete Hegseth wants to live in a world in which the US military can drop bombs on scores of children and face no serious media scrutiny for it. His vile claim that he can't wait for David Ellison to run CNN shows he pines for oligarchic control of media.

Nazi rhetoric from the Nazi president of the United States of America
This was always going to happen: Trump, and the Supreme Court, turned DOJ into an extension of the president's will. Now, judges trust DOJ about as far as they can throw it.
The immunity decision and unitary executive theory breed corruption and ineffectiveness.

This thread -- & the thread it links to, & @jamellebouie.net's original insight -- are super-important to understand. To the average Ivy-educated, DC-centric journalist, the MAGA base is almost entirely theoretical. They don't know any genuine MAGAts, they just construct a Noble Savage imaginary.
Take the gun, leave the cannolis.
I won't indulge in the usual hand-wringing about a post-truth world, because I think that people will adapt and learn how to triangulate information (though consolidation of ownership and White House attacks on the US press aren't helping).
In any case, what a damn unnecessary mess.
Gift link.
NEW EPISODE: DOJ is sitting on half of the Epstein Files — and Congressman Robert Garcia says that's no accident. It's a cover-up, and Trump is leading it. Rep. Garcia and I break down where the Epstein investigation stands: who's been subpoenaed and what the DOJ is hiding. youtu.be/UE-QUZ0xB4s?...
It’s crazy that he is negotiating on behalf of the U.S. at all. He has no government appointment and no one elected him and he has no business being in those meetings even without the grift
Historian here happy women’s history month: “At the UN Commission on the Status of Women, 37 countries voted to strengthen access to justice for women and girls. Six abstained. One voted against: the United States under Donald Trump.
Alone. Against a global effort to advance women’ rights.”
Gee. It’s almost like stats and methodology and measurement are scientific processes that MATTER AND HAVE REAL WORLD CONSEQUENCES.
The lying just doesn't stop...
Trump Admin starts war.
Trump Admin shocked by consequences of war.
Trump Admin urgently (!) tells Americans caught by those consequences to get out! get out! and no there's no help coming from the Trump Admin, and good luck finding a land route out somewhere.

In the One Big Bill the GOP cut Medicaid spending by $200 billion/year
The US will spend all that money on the Iran War in just five months
Hopefully that range stretches from 'not a chance in hell' to 'you can feck right off'!
Airline ticket prices are starting to climb as carriers respond to rising jet fuel costs tied to the war in Iran.
What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”
What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”
Funny how that works.
⚠️ Lindsey Graham appears to be telegraphing a planned Marine incursion to takeover Kharg Island:
Yesterday a federal jury convicted 9 anti-ICE protesters on terrorism charges — the first domestic terror prosecution targeting alleged ‘antifa’ under Trump.
This is exactly what I wrote about this week: how the terrorism label is used as a tool for repression zeitzoff.substack.com/p/what-happe...
