Nope - I reached out day of and told them my stuff wasn't realistic but I was willing to delete the offending posts and they responded saying no, the ban was permanent and to not make new accounts. I only got unbanned because of an email campaign held by other people.

While I do believe that's its a possibility I got mass-reported, the fact they p much ignored my appeal (which is when they're MEANT to take a closer look) kinda removes any leeway I was willing to give them

you gotta have love for the game! I actually have fun drawing nsfw when I have the ideas, my commissions being popular is just a bonus on top

yeah I feel after a certain skill threshold people won't care if the artist likes it or not but when an artist LIKES the thing they're drawing, it has so much more vibrancy!!

even when I'm burnt out on commissions, I still try to draw something good bc that's what the person is paying me for!!! they want to see my take drawing something & I'm not gonna take that trust? I guess? for granted!

that's why I can take so long sometimes bc I don't want to half-ass something.

frankly if I'm paying someone more than 100 for art, I /want/ to know they'll at least have some fun w/the prompt! the artist doesn't have to go crazy w/ enthusiasm abt it but it's reassuring knowing they have SOME interest in the thing I'm paying them to draw. when they don't, it's 100% apparent.

tbh I kinda judge the people who disparage nsfw art yet still want to draw it bc they think its lucrative which

yes, it has the potential but you still have to take the time to build up your community/brand to get to the point where you can charge more than 100 for a sketch.
