Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview with Netflix in March 2025 that she understood would only be released after her death.

She also gave wonderful hugs and I feel like that is a very important thing for people to know. I know I was just one of countless people she met, but I can't overstate that she genuinely changed my brain chemistry that day.

I just found out Dr. Goodall passed away. She had an incredible impact on me growing up. I was fortunate enough to meet her & get almost an hour of one on one time with her. When I'm in a bad place, I hear her say I have a rainbow in me. I'm so thankful to have lived when you did, and I'll miss you.

As a side tangent I also really want people to stop acting like"don't worry, it's not Covid" excuses exposing people to illness. I have an awful cold because people are totally chill with getting people sick with "just a cold". When you have sick time and still go in for...reasons?? Whyy

I'm sorry you are going through it :( new pains are scary and sucky

I hate when doctors try to explain what to expect with pain and recovery because it is always just vague enough that if you are even remotely not "normal" nothing they tell you will stop the anxiety from hitting

I was today years old when I learned that this drawing, the first one my dad taught me, was related to resistance, and that makes me hard so proud.

It always goes back to normal but it makes things...difficult. It's hard to explain to people who dont experience Migraine thar these things are actually happening, and sometimes pain isnt even involved.

Anyway now I have 3 days off from the part time job so I'll couch blob and hopefully reset lol

Part of Migraine for me is that postdrome phase sometimes it takes me a couple minutes to understand a word/images/etc. I know that the thing is in my memory bank, but the delivery system can't get it to the output. Every time this happens im like,"is this the time it doesn't go back to normal"

Reading this triggered so many flashbacks to unhelpful and dismissive doctors and nurses jfc

East coast and Midwest primarily, but we do down south sometimes.

I have notes in a journal from 2010 of character scent profiles I was building and never used and now I'm like...do I finally do the thing. I've always had a hang up where I wanted people to want the candle because it is a good candle and not just the label art

Angeldust was interesting because the smells I originally planned on paper ultimately didn't match what I experienced when really thinking about him, so it was definitely a "trust the process" situation. I hope people like them 🥹

I kind of "smell" things in my mind, so when I visualize scenes, characters, or recall memories, I'll have a scent association with them. This is how my candling making process starts. Sometimes I know what I am "smelling" and sometimes it's a puzzle of trial and error to recreate it.

Toonfusion's lineup was a motivator to finally make some chara candles. I've avoided doing charas, I worry my impression won't be what people want, but I enjoyed the researching & visualizing for these quite a bit. #hazbinhotel #angeldust #husk #alastor #lucifer #huskerdust #radiodust #radioapple

It was genuinely months before I wasn't fatigued all the time. The recovery timelines they give are with capitalism in mind(when you can "go back to work") and are inaccurate for "normal" health people. People with chronic health conditions take much longer.
