As someone who has created games for the PS2 (as part of a degree) I can attest to the fact that it's an absolute bastard to develop for. It really does force you to get creative with texture atlases and pull some tricks with audio files.

One of my previous medications had the strangest side effect of making chocolate smell and taste like fresh puke.
