Oooo, I've been trying to find a good movie because Spring Break is coming up! This sounds really promising. My kids are a little sensitive though - what are the scary bits...? Thanks for sharing!
Wow, @sjdscorsone.bsky.social that's tough! Especially with the movie event! π« Amazed you went back in!! I couldn't. I feel like there must be a name for this general phobia.
I've got a paralyzing fear of heights, if that makes you feel better. It's clearly genetic in my family too!
π€£ @sjdscorsone.bsky.social It's ok, you can join the Bluesky senior citizens club with me - I graduated high school in 2001 and I'm a proud 42 year old now π
Let me just get you an honorary cane and dentures...
Oh yes, that does seem unnervingly realistic then! Especially since I live in Colorado, I can imagine this all too well π ππ
And now I know for sure you have a great, healthy relationship - teasing is crucial π
ππ
I love DDR π, but I worry it's not as popular as it used to be (here's me feeling old now!). But I'd be excited to see it make more of a comeback! Adorable that it could cause more physicality than Street Fighter π
π That's an adorable story of how you got together with your husband! π All worked out indeed!
And thanks. Maybe I'll ping you if I need a PT consult for it. π
Aw, thanks so much! ππ
π€£ So classic though!
I see this all as things we get to look forward to navigating with our own kids as they grow up. π
π
π€£ Based on your experience of watching The Matrix, sounds like it may have been guys instead of squirrels though π Would have been right there with you too!
Also, I'm still trying to figure out where I am! Currently quitting one job and starting a new one. It's a good thing though. π
Only seen Knives Out of those.
I don't pass out. The images just stay with me too much.
Right! Yes, very good year for the theater - good year to be in high school!
Fair enough! I do like that pizza can count as "pie" for this "holiday" too. Sounds like a great math teacher.
My husband (also a teacher) is actually getting pied in the face by students next week to celebrate... ππ₯§
Thank you, Pete! π
Ah, saw it but didn't see it ππ Sometimes those are the most memorable movies! π₯
Do they have much pie in Seoul? π
If so, you'll need to share pictures!
Safe travels!
π I'm totally the same. Can't really do horror or psychological thrillers, but I worked in planty of vet clinics! Totally fine with blood and all that! π
Also, realized that The Matrix came out the same year (1999). Would definitely recommend that instead of Sixth Sense if you haven't seen it!!
Honestly, I feel like the "I see dead people" gif is scarier than the actual movie was π€£
It was really more suspenseful and creepy than actually scary (and I'm a total horror wuss!).
Just in case you want to catch up on seeing a 27 year old movie sometime.
Probably better movies to watch though π
Love the seasonal allergies aspect here π

Baked a non-pie pie for #PiDay! π₯§
Spaghetti squash pie.
More of a lasagna tbh.
Definitely not photogenic, but, as my spouse said, "It's surprisingly good." π
Even the kids ate some! π²
Why this pie? Wanted a savory #vegetarian pie, & this was recommended!

Yay, mild passive aggressive nagging for the win then π π€£
Poor Ashley π’
Always nice when there's a suggestion of a next time. π
π€£π
Surely nothing suspicious has happened to Caspar π
π€£ I have my MC say things like "No pressure" in situations like this as well. Love the nonchalant sarcasm π€£π
I really want to know what arcade game they're most brutal about π
