Not the way I planned this week to start, but thankful for my amazing family and the wonderful staff at Swedish First Hill for getting me through my ordeal.

Wife drove me the ER, and after a CT scan, it was confirmed my appendix was inflamed. It had not burst/ruptured, so I was safe on that end, but they got me on the surgery schedule for Tuesday morning. Surgery went smoothly and I’m home now, resting.

EVERYTHING IS FINE, but…
Monday morning I woke up with some discomfort in my lower abdomen. It got worse throughout the morning, coupled with nausea/dizzy spells to the point I actually briefly passed out in my office chair (no fall, just slumped).
