If billionaires can build rockets for 11-minute joyrides, they can afford to fund universal mental healthcare.

We don’t have a budget problem. We have a priority problem.

The cause of Homelessness is not, not having a home.

The cause of homelessness is not simply, not having a home. It’s unaddressed trauma, untreated mental health struggles, and systemic barriers that keep people trapped. To truly end homelessness, we must go beyond shelter, we must heal, support, and empower people at the root of their struggles.

First responders are the heartbeat of our communities—when crisis hits, they run toward it. It’s our duty to support the ones who never hesitate to support us.

When everything falls apart, first responders risk their lives and protect ours.

Their role isn’t just vital; let’s never take that for granted. 🚒🚓

Ending homelessness isn’t just the government’s job—it’s everyone’s responsibility. Compassion, not policy, is what builds a home.

We can’t wait on the government to solve homelessness.
It starts with us—with empathy, action, and refusing to look away.

We rise by lifting others. 🏠💛

🧠💙 Mental health & support workers are the unsung heroes of our communities. They carry others' pain with strength & grace—often without thanks.
Today, I just want to say:
We see you. We need you. We thank you.

Real solutions to homelessness start with those experiencing it.
Too often, decisions are made about the homeless without including their voices. If we want change that sticks, we need to listen, involve, and empower those with lived experience. #Homelessness #BottomUp

Through my outreach, I've worked with an individual who had a RED triage category, and yes, red is bad. My team and I stabilized this individual with wrap-around (mental health) supports, and they are now Green helping other Veterans in the community. It's an incredible feeling!!!

Being adopted shaped my journey, and I wanted to give back. I donated my time to be part of Adopted, a film that explores the struggles of adoption for adults and children. If you've faced similar challenges, this movie may resonate with you! www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VCY... #Adoption #AdoptedMovie"

“Homelessness isn’t just lacking walls; it’s lacking a voice.” Join us to create real solutions.

🌊 In 2023, Halifax faced a bitter winter. The city opened a rink shelter, gathered volunteers, and leased vehicles—yet no one arrived. Why? Encampments offered freedom and community, free from rigid rules. Without real consultation, the plan froze and ultimately failed. Consult them first!! 🌊

It's important to give back to society in some way. But, I also believe that that way should be meaningful and reflect lived experience. My nephew has a learning disability, so I grew up being aware of his needs. As an adult, I volunteer on the BOD of SSG, SSG houses, and supports people like him.

Mental health professionals are some of the strongest people I’ve ever known. They stand in the hardest battles, fighting for those who can’t fight alone. You matter more than you know. Thank you!

🙏 Repost to thank mental health heroes! 🙏

For 21 years, I’ve seen the toll of homelessness. Leading a veterans homelessness project has been harder than anything I faced in the military. Some won’t make it—but mental health professionals fight for them every day. Their strength brings hope. #Heros

My first bed after I was adopted was a cardboard box. It wasn’t much, but it was mine. Where you start in life doesn’t define where you finish—hard work, resilience, and the right opportunities do.
If a kid with a cardboard box can build a future, imagine what you can do. Keep going. #Adopted

Three eagles, each atop their own pile of garbage

🦅🦅🦅 Three eagles, each atop their own pile of garbage, powerful alone but stronger together. Hoarding scraps won’t build a better world. Ending homelessness takes unity, not isolated victories. Let’s rise together. 🌊🌊🌊

After working with Veterans experiencing housing insecurity over the last few months, it's astonishing the variety of needs that are required to stabilize an individual.

In terms of Homelessness, unfortunately I don't see a one size fits all solution...I wish it was
