We trimmed one hoof perfectly fine and then she said “I’m out” and DRAGGED both of us, kicked, reared, and I shit you not I have never ever seen this - physically BODIED us against the fence
Ok I tested the pony yesterday and was like, I guess it’s halter broke and picks up its feet - we’ll get it a trim.

Went to dinner last night bc people are in town and they were all like “so what did you do today?” And forgot that we like WORK AND HAVE JOBS
and they’re not understanding how this is stressful but like they got 3x more stressed when their car battery died because they didn’t know you had to replace those
And I do sound like a fucking entitled ass but we do have family with $$$ and they’re like ‘could you ask your job if you could park an RV there and live there’ and I am gnashing my teeth
We’re having to move out of our long term rental and it’s extremely stressing me out. I want to be able to buy a place because renting sucks but it’s all so expensive and stressful

1 Pixie the little bay got adopted out and is going to be a mountain trail pony
2 Snickers the chestnut has chilled out considerably and is halfway through the adoption process with someone rn
3 got a new pretty pony to train. I’ll be taking her to a clinic next weekend!

Rescue is going to go pick up an Arabian that looks young and not crippled so I might have ✨two✨ Arabians
My Feral guy now will walk towards me, with hesitation of course, and lets me move around a bit without flying backwards. We also got hit by a dust devil and he didn’t kill me so 10/10
Chaos goat spooked and hurt my hand and I just don’t like dealing with super spooky horses
Absolutely perfect adopter for barrel horse came and rode her. Also have someone interested in the chaos goat which I hope works out because I… don’t like working with her lol
There’s a fourth horse but I didn’t need to test his tying & other skills because he’s halter-able but actually just freight trains over people and will pin you up against fences and therefore somehow has negative handleability
Obviously it’s good that they’re all tame (less work + adoptability) but it makes me look insane trying to incite them into pulling back
