i just realized why i don't like social media anymore. a year or two ago, all you had to do was post a thing and people would be like "cool thing let me follow!"
now the algorithms are all centered around aggressive audience manipulation tactics and i aint into that like AT ALL

like now you have to have a special hook and use specific imagery and songs for the robot to even allow your post to be seen and it needs to be a minute long so you have to pull people along for 60 seconds with your initial hook to force engagement and i'm SO OVER IT OMGGG
