The willingness to pursue military action that leaves hundreds of children dead, underlines why the world increasingly views the actions of Israel and the US as such a threat to international peace and security.

It feels like a few people are beginning to wake up to the true nature of the Labour right.
This is not new. They've always treated migrants, disabled people, unemployed people, as expendable for political ends.
It's not new.
Hartlepool Labour councillors threaten to quit party after meeting Steve Reed
Guardian reports: Reed said the government would not “reward councils for having high numbers of children in care” and then “dismissed” the discussion by saying: “That’s life.”

A change of leadership, better policies and Party democracy are now needed
Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons has resigned from the Government following revelations about the shadowy Labour Together faction which he led. Long-standing Labour activist Frank Hansen sets out what needs to happen…
Great news - Andrea Egan, General Secretary of public-service union @unison.org.uk, will be speaking at the Ukraine solidarity meeting at Parliament next week (4 March).
We're delighted to have the new leader of the UK's largest trade union!

A rebellion of this size means Labour would be relying on Tory and Reform support for Starmer and Mahmood's reactionary policy
Ramsay McStarmer.
In fairness to Lucy Powell she was the only member of the NEC panel to vote against blocking Andy Burnham from standing.
If Starmer genuinely thought the Greens were an extremist threat (utter nonsense) then he wouldn't have blocked Labour's strongest candidate.
So presumably this Daily Mail campaign against "foreign-born" voters will quickly be applied to their foreign-born star columnist, Boris Johnson, and their own France-based for tax purposes non-dom owner?

Robin Cook would have turned 80 today
In his memoir, Point of Departure, he says:
“Political parties do not achieve renewal by shuffling staff in their leader’s office, but by changing the culture, priorities, and direction of the organisation”

Graduate debt is a national scandal. It is breaking a whole generation of young people.
It’s time for a serious discussion about cancelling student debt.
Instead, we should fund higher education through progressive taxation.

Maternal death rates are 20% higher than in 2009-11.
The findings of this investigation remind us that maternity care is not working for women, babies, families, or staff.
These problems are too familiar. We now need urgent action to address them.
Viktor Orban is now 20 points behind in the polls - and so he has ordered the military to guard “key energy facilities” against a possible Ukrainian “attack.” Hungarians fear he plans a fake national security emergency or false-flag incident before the April 12 election
