Congratz! Keep it going <3
30.10.2025 11:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh God. I even watched that game live. It draws to Ne3 and Nh4 wins. God damn it. You flipped the board and my brain resets π
29.10.2025 21:14 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Quick prayer, closing eyes and Nf4 π€π»π€π»
29.10.2025 19:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0And thatβs it. Magnus Carlsen wins #ClutchChess with two games to spare.
Thereβs still something to be played for as a win is the equivalent of 3k$ but Magnus dominates against WCC, No. 2 and 5-time US Champ.
And yes, I made a photo of TV cause Iβm lazy. Reflected lamp gives it something extra β€οΈ
Gukesh v Magnus during #ClutchChess at STLCC
1 draw, 5 losses, No wins in 10+5 format.
On one hand - easy money and great fun. On the other hand - going from ETCC in Georgia directly to Saint Louis for a 4 day event to go back to Goa to start World Cup in 3 days.
Intense, but not too much?
One game left for Gukesh to turn around a rough day during #ClutchChess
Fabiano on the other hand looking currently at 8/10 points with a possibility of going 10/12.
The best part? Wins tomorrow count for 3 points. Great format.

28.10.2025 20:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ok. So we have the first day of #ClutchChess behind us and Gukesh leads after losing the first game on time against Magnus.
Of course - the innovative format makes the first day achievements less relevant during the tournament but World Champ is definitely in form.
Letβs see if he keeps it going.
Hans Niemann wins 18-6 against Ding Liren in RO16 of #SpeedChessChampionship, and will face Denis Lazavik in QF.
I believe it is fair to say that it was the expected result, however, let use this opportunity to once again reiterate:
Mental Health is important. Take care of it.
Just tuned into #SpeedChessChampionship RO16 where Hans is playing ex World Champ - Ding Liren.
And I have to say... I am missing good old Ding Liren.
We have this skewed view of him post WCC, but man... this guy was a real beast.
Curious if he bites back after going 0:2 to start 5+1.

Nc4 is beautiful, though. Correct me if I'm wrong!
27.10.2025 13:04 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I was looking intensely at Be7 and I definitely was not expecting that the solution to Bf6 will be that straightforward.
"Just go the other way, shtoopid."
I am not surprised that people complained about F1 being often boring.
Only now Iβve noticed how much good broadcast means. And it is my 4th full season of watching.
I thought that they were driving slow. And you simply preferred showing celebrities instead of overtakes.
I never understood the argument of:
βX did something objectively wrong.β
βOh, but now people are doing this to X.β
So what? Just because Kramnik receives death threats now we should drop the FIDE investigation?
No. We should punish and report the ones that sent those threats.
With Kramnik.
Chess grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky died at the age of 29. He leaves behind a legacy as a standard-bearer in the world of competitive chess that flourished during the COVID-19 pandemic.
25.10.2025 15:30 β π 69 π 13 π¬ 7 π 0Stil better PR than FIDEβsβ¦ π
25.10.2025 17:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh wow... Qd7+ and either perpetual or Kh6 Qxh7 Kxh7 followed by a fork Ng5+. I will see myself out.
24.10.2025 14:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Late to the party as always but how can you defend against Qf3? I am looking at it and it sounds too... easy to be correct (a feeling that we all know very well π )
24.10.2025 14:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A lovely one!
d4 to counter Bxd4 with c4# and threatening Qe5#.
Really nice pattern. I have to say that Polgar's book with 23569436592384 mates helped me tremendously with seeing mating nets and weaving them
I am watching Rd 10 of US Chess Championship and I had a small reflection.
Danya was our generation's Yasser.
The one with anecdotes, humor, approachable and kind.
I really hope that someone will step into that role.
Interesting.
23.10.2025 13:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I see people starting to complain about GM Anand not being more proactive. Being 3rd in the hierarchy is not 1st. He did a lot of good work while not stepping on anyone's toes.
Now, however, it is crucial to see how he reacts.
If someone would consider going for FIDE President - it is now.

Ex-world chess champ investigated for unfounded attacks on Daniel Naroditsky β as grieving mom says he died tormented by them
23.10.2025 10:35 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 3 π 0More and more outlets are reporting on the matter.
Dvorkovych's statement feels like Sophie's Choice.
Should he sacrifice his friend Sutov or his friend Kramnik.
Sorry, Vlad.

During Round 9 of US Chess Championship GM Dariusz Swiercz drew with GM Grigoriy Oparin with White.
Against 1..c5 he chose Alapin Sicilian as tribute to GM Daniel Naroditsky who played 2. c3 often and successfully.
He played it also against Swiercz in 2020 during USCC Online Quali.

Vincent decided that heβll just go for a ranking spot instead of winning the World Cup. π
22.10.2025 19:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Sutovsky's comment are disgusting. Just... appalling.
We need to be proactive and don't let the case die out. Keep the momentum going.
Write to your local Chess club to start the initiative and spread the news.
Chess deserves better.

Naroditsky's last Speedrun video was titled:
"You Thought I Was Gone!? Speedrun Returns!"
Finished on a pun, didn't he?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rqP...
Therefore, it seems only natural that Vladimir Kramnik should be banned from any future events, stripped of the title and previously achieved accolades.
Thereβs no place for bullies and harassment in the chess world.
We need to show that to others so our game can grow.
Best regards,
