What do you personally use to learn/grow so you can innovate your craft in design?

I chat with quite a lot of folks in my discipline, and I've learned that most people play other games to learn and grow. I personally like to read a lot of books and published papers!

Why are children allowed to engage with the PowerPacks ecosystem on GameStop? Both IRL and online?

There's no age verification to gamble online for GameStop PowerPacks & they've set up one of the most callously designed monetization strategies with horrible slot RTPs.

It's so interesting to me that there's such strong pushback against cosmetics in live ops models ( or variations of gacha mechanics in freemium games ) but then trading cards exist.

I've been casually engaging in the Pokemon TCG community and, dear lord, pulling cards is already rough... THEN (1)

Keeping it vague - but on one product, we had an executive who told us that a product we were working on had 0 chance & wouldn't resonate with our demographic on the product. We spent over 8 months escalating and pushing until we got approval.
