Use a plastic, airtight container and line the bottom with paper towels. Wet the paper towels till they JUST drip when pressed. Place parchment paper over them. Put your paint on the parchment paper. The paper towels provide moisture and the parchment slows absorption enough not to drown paint. Lid.
