I was toying around with adding a flat 5 to a D major chord this morning and it turned into this nice, bouncy progression that I think I might end up turning into a new instrumental. Tritones don't always have to sound evil.

A fun riff that I came up with last night. I always love it when my blues rock guitar roots really show up in my ukulele playing.

I randomly decided to plug in a midi keyboard and bring up a soft synth at 11:30 at night and ended up with 2 new chord progressions and a new riff all demoed (on my uke) less than a half hour later ... And I barely know what to do with a keyboard. Sometimes a change of pace can be very inspiring.

This is so sad. When I was a teenager in the '80s, Drew Struzan's artwork was on just about every movie poster. He had an absolutely singular style and a great ability to convey the feeling of a film with just one image.
