I think generally I agree, but I'm not well-read on the broader subject of medical chauvinism. What's really chafing me is people arguing that there's "nothing we can truly know" about medicine when there 100% is! I take hormones and they work! Vaccines work! Like you said, it isn't hypothetical.

I've unfortunately gotten all too familiar with this pattern from my own family becoming health fad freaks because of similar issues with unhelpful doctors. Their reasonable issues with the system don't validate their subsequent belief in junk science scams.

I was using the Reaper crest for quite a while (the extra silk is very nice) but I switched to the Wanderer last night and holy moly is it OP. Any boss that stays still basically at all gets completely shredded with how fast it lets you attack.

This is essentially why I don't really entertain the idea of "rehabbing" America or "patriotism" in general. To be honestly proud of this country is to either ignore or accept horrifying amounts of brutality and oppression. We can move on from this to something altogether better.

For some of them, probably, but more realistically they just don't care because they aren't personally affected (yet). For others, they have repeatedly in the past supported essentially the same policies on smaller scales. It isn't in their personal interests to want this to stop.

It's obvious at this point that the Dem party leadership just doesn't consider politics to be adversarial in the first place. They don't consider the GOP enemies at all, and "fighting" to them means being petty and dramatic instead of "productive" and "bipartisan". Controlled opposition is too kind
