And it's TOTALLY not true that "every single" person you detained is here illegally. For instance, many were allowed in so they could apply for asylum.
This is an outstanding way to destroy this tool for future use, and as an effective threat, because federal courts will be loathe to allow Trump to destroy a US Senator for criticizing him.
And it will also alienate a ton of officers.
Rep Chrissy Houlahan also forcefully points out that virtually no Republicans have condemned Trump's call for Democrats' execution. How is that not a bigger story?
