Nose and tail sections of the lancastarian conversion nearly done. Still need to add a few more details to the tail section, but thatβs wonβt take too long to do.
Once this is done, Iβm going to start on a Nene jet engine conversion for the Lancastarian tested
It does mate βΊοΈ one of these days Iβll have a tidy up, but it just ends up the same way lol
13.02.2026 22:47 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0You may call it a absolute mess pal π§π€£
13.02.2026 22:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Added the nose turret delete and shaped it to fit, then filled a few gaps and holes that werenβt on this version. Such as the under lights for the dams raid, and the aerial on the left rear side.
13.02.2026 22:07 β π 14 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Wasnβt quite happy with how under the bomb aimers position was a little bit off, so improvised a clamp and re glued it.

11.02.2026 21:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Made my own using a cricut.
11.02.2026 21:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Thanks pal. Quite enjoyed this one, oven if it did take me a little while. Iβd decided early on, I wasnβt going to use decals. I made all the masks and sprayed them on.
11.02.2026 20:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thanks pal, made a custom mix of Tamiya paint colours and sprayed it on lightly.
11.02.2026 18:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Fuselage halfβs glued together with all the components for the cockpit installed. Going to let the fully cure before I do anything else to it. I can then sand and fill any seams, and parts not needed for this version etc.
11.02.2026 14:02 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Second layer of filler added, and removed a little later with a wet cotton bud. No need to sand and no loss of detail.
11.02.2026 14:01 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0
Removed the excess after leaving it 20 minutes with a wet cotton bud. Iβll leave that a bit longer to cure, then add a little more filler over the top to fill any low spots.
.
So Iβll be depicting 15 squadron PD127 LS-S, and after consulting βthe bookβ on serial numbers between PD112-PD139 had all windows removed, except the windows on either side of the wireless operator. So removed the windows, turned them round and Iβm filling them.
11.02.2026 13:58 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0All interior details added, these have been really easy to work with, something Iβll have to look into for future builds. Need to add all the windows then the fuselage halfβs can go together.
11.02.2026 13:57 β π 13 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Grand slam Lancaster on the way. Everything fits nicely, with a slight bit of fettling. Need to get some paint, glass in and inner fuselage details put in,then the fuselage halfβs can go together.

27.12.2025 22:52 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So, all three scales did print out successfully, and show really good details, however, the fins do need to be made thicker!
03.12.2025 23:13 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sidewinder AIM-9-L fully drawn on CAD, with added sacrificial tabs to aid printing. Will do a test print tonight, see how it looks.
03.12.2025 13:40 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Aim-9-L Sidewinder WIP. front fins added, need some slight tidying up and the angles sorting, but that's about right, added sacrificial fin extensions on to the rear fins, so the supports have somewhere to attach to, that isn't directly on the model.
02.12.2025 21:53 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks pal! Itβs a weird colour, depending on the light and the angle, itβs either really dark black, or a grey colour. Not the glossy black ones you see in museums
24.11.2025 08:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Revell 1/32 nightfighter, primer done, metal areas sprayed flat aluminium, then top coat of the RAF night finish. Used a mix of black, grey, blue and white to get as best as I can accurate colour. Going to be chipping metal contact areas in the wings and fuselage.

Thanks pal, been steady away in eBay for the last three years, done reasonably well but just trying to move away as their fees are so high at 15%.
I should be able to keep the prices down on the website.
Made a new website for my 3D printed parts, still have a backlog of parts to design, but I'm getting there.
