Nose and tail sections of the lancastarian conversion nearly done. Still need to add a few more details to the tail section, but that’s won’t take too long to do.
Once this is done, I’m going to start on a Nene jet engine conversion for the Lancastarian tested
It does mate ☺️ one of these days I’ll have a tidy up, but it just ends up the same way lol
You may call it a absolute mess pal 🧐🤣
Added the nose turret delete and shaped it to fit, then filled a few gaps and holes that weren’t on this version. Such as the under lights for the dams raid, and the aerial on the left rear side.
Wasn’t quite happy with how under the bomb aimers position was a little bit off, so improvised a clamp and re glued it.
Here they are bsky.app/profile/alsc...
Made my own using a cricut.
Thanks pal. Quite enjoyed this one, oven if it did take me a little while. I’d decided early on, I wasn’t going to use decals. I made all the masks and sprayed them on.
Thanks pal, made a custom mix of Tamiya paint colours and sprayed it on lightly.
Fuselage half’s glued together with all the components for the cockpit installed. Going to let the fully cure before I do anything else to it. I can then sand and fill any seams, and parts not needed for this version etc.
Second layer of filler added, and removed a little later with a wet cotton bud. No need to sand and no loss of detail.
Removed the excess after leaving it 20 minutes with a wet cotton bud. I’ll leave that a bit longer to cure, then add a little more filler over the top to fill any low spots.
.
So I’ll be depicting 15 squadron PD127 LS-S, and after consulting “the book” on serial numbers between PD112-PD139 had all windows removed, except the windows on either side of the wireless operator. So removed the windows, turned them round and I’m filling them.
All interior details added, these have been really easy to work with, something I’ll have to look into for future builds. Need to add all the windows then the fuselage half’s can go together.
Grand slam Lancaster on the way. Everything fits nicely, with a slight bit of fettling. Need to get some paint, glass in and inner fuselage details put in,then the fuselage half’s can go together.
Finished this the other week, 1/32 Revell hurricane nightfighter, based at RAF Hibaldstow.
All markings painted on using stencils

Revell 1/32 hurricane, all markings painted on, and clear coat of Mr Color C-181 semi gloss clear. Ready for weathering.
So, all three scales did print out successfully, and show really good details, however, the fins do need to be made thicker!
Sidewinder AIM-9-L fully drawn on CAD, with added sacrificial tabs to aid printing. Will do a test print tonight, see how it looks.
Aim-9-L Sidewinder WIP. front fins added, need some slight tidying up and the angles sorting, but that's about right, added sacrificial fin extensions on to the rear fins, so the supports have somewhere to attach to, that isn't directly on the model.
Thanks pal! It’s a weird colour, depending on the light and the angle, it’s either really dark black, or a grey colour. Not the glossy black ones you see in museums
Revell 1/32 nightfighter, primer done, metal areas sprayed flat aluminium, then top coat of the RAF night finish. Used a mix of black, grey, blue and white to get as best as I can accurate colour. Going to be chipping metal contact areas in the wings and fuselage.
Luftwaffe MW-1 weapon dispenser in 1/72 now available, 1/48 & 1/32 coming soon.

Thanks pal, been steady away in eBay for the last three years, done reasonably well but just trying to move away as their fees are so high at 15%.
I should be able to keep the prices down on the website.
Made a new website for my 3D printed parts, still have a backlog of parts to design, but I'm getting there.
