Also the analogy doesn’t work because the whole point of the “nazi bar” is when a space that has EXCLUSIVELY nazis and you are accepting of those people of that space, you are a nazi/nazi adjacent. A majority of people who use Twitter are not nazis and despise Elon (regularly mocking him)

Kirk is a nazi and so are a lot of his supporters, but that doesn’t mean everyone who users Twitter is a nazi. If they actually used the platform they’d know people bully Elon daily, nobody respects or tolerates him over there.

The difference is that people who use Twitter fucking hate Elon. Nobody is okay with the content he’s pushing on users. He’s viciously mocked over there. You criticize Bluesky or empathize with people who use Twitter on here and folks are jumping out the wordwork calling you a nazi apologist

I also think these people don’t understand the reason why people won’t leave Twitter (or have returned to Twitter) is that Bluesky already has a pretty awful reputation online (not just Twitter but multiple platforms). And it’s because of behavior like this.

My thing too is that I don’t even think THEY believe this. Like you really think everyone who uses Twitter is a nazi? Even your friends and families? Celebrities and influencers you like? Are you harassing them and calling them nazis or only the queer people who talk about their livelihoods

They’ve been called out for shadow banning people for talking about Palestine recently too

This moral scolding helps no one. Focus on the nazis. Focus on the companies who are trying to suppress minorities and sex workers. Focus on actually HELPING people instead of screaming on Bluesky.

This sort of harassment has done nothing but push people away from Bluesky.
