A crown jewel worth preserving. Some of us eschew involvement with advocacy, feeling ill equipped or just too busy. Preservation of NIH is squarely in our lane. We are best positioned through our societies and individually to ensure our representatives understand the cost of losing this jewel.
I am thankful to be a doctor. Since starting fellowship, I have learned a great deal. However, when I reflect on patients I have had the pleasure of seeing, I realize my growth and fulfillment comes from being a part of their stories. Happy #thanksgiving from our family to yours.
