It’s kinda weird reading a book so many random people have recommended and coming across a reference to the small, never left the city chain of restaurants from my home town but @mattdinniman.bsky.social definitely name dropped Eegees and now I’m craving one.
Therefore, dwarves and goblins are the fantasy species best suited for life in a cyberpunk.
This thought brought to you by unfiltered rambling leading to the question/prompt: if you can’t see the sun, how do you make fresh salsa?
Random thoughts and a world building prompt. Cyberpunk often has mega blocks and mega cities, great vertical metropolis defined by their levels.
In fantasy, dwarves and goblins live in mountains, caves, and mines, great vertical societies defined by their levels.
As a great look at the research done to confirm those uses. I do not understand biology enough to really get this page. I have still spent the past ten minutes reading these damn abstracts and findings. Why is my brain like this? 😅
There are some Myrtle bushes at my work. I am cycling through a witchy phase so of course I’m curious what, if any, uses Myrtle has. A quick google search shows some basic info with no real explanation, but I did find the National Institute of Health do a little more talk on the folk uses as well
BIG thing i get teased about over the years (in playful ways, it is fine buckaroos, but a light tease none the less) is the DIRECTNESS of my titles. many who stumble upon my books will immediately comment 'the title is so long it just says what happens'. here are some of my thoughts on that...
Really didn’t want to do card pulls, but I think I have to use a tarot deck as well. It’s one of the only ways I can see meaningful generation of the hex flower. So land on a hex, draw a tarot, follow the prompt, roll for the creature. And that gives me a 4 ring hex flower
So planning on calling this exploration and survival game Fly You Fools. But I think I need some type of stress mechanic. I want to add safe rooms that the meta currency can help you get to, but I think stress would help encourage continuing exploration/limit cheesing safe rooms

So I prefer dice pools over jenga towers because I find that it usually gives a growing feeling of dread and inevitability as the pool dwindles. Block towers are always sudden. Sure there is fear, but then either immediate relief or sorrow. Dice pools linger. Almost every roll is a loss
Blocks you pull or what number removes dice.
When the tower falls or the pool is empty, you enter the run portion. Fleeing with be on a hex flower but with dead ends. Hit a dead end and well… but there has to be a meta currency that will allow you to slip by
Thanks to the good folks over at @abyssalbrews.com I’ve had a game idea stuck in my head for two days. Or at least an SRD. it’s a sneak and run concept. For the sneak, I’m thinking either jenga tower or dice pool where you remove ones. Map divided in sections where each section affects how many
It’s a rough thing because a clever game can provide a singular event that you can point at for changing your life or perspective, but a friend is a thousand tiny touch points. Makes a harder mental narrative
Gotta watch the director’s cut. The voice over narration did no favors to the movie
Wait…are you looking for an artist or a chest?

Last night was fun. The party was asked to steal enough gold from the dragon, it would lose some power. Instead, they caused a ruckus and the dragon woke up and killed two of the characters. Rogue bullshit is the only reason I didn’t get three
We are going live in just a few minutes. The stream is already up and the heist will be on shortly.
Again, this is to help support Doctors Without Borders with a little #dnd and #ttrpg fun
Twitch.tv/aclawrence24
I will be running a one shot for this starting at 10 est/9 central
Come join us, follow along as our players attempt to steal from a dragon, and help support Doctors Without Borders
Hell yeah. Big congrats on that. You deserve it
Well the hope of every flash is a dabble of dribble. That is the great fiction
Hehe flash fic
Listening to a TikToker talking about how culture and purity are diametrically opposed as culture is messy, rubbing up against others to create a new fusion. And one) that is a beautiful description and two) feels like a fun idea to play with for the #tittyrpgjam
“Oh cool, I too play fantasy games, except mine use dice instead of people”
When I played football in high school, our D line coach always told us to run the other team to the sideline. They might gain a yard, but they ran 15 to do it. It’s not sustainable to play like that. So run em sideline to sideline.

But I get looking for DIY alternatives. My silly goose is wanting to make my own incense cones for some weird reason
Missed the memo that you were over here, now you just gotta do the whole posting thing 😂
