My friend David Dozoretz and his posse of pre-celebrated filmmakers and animators did the final act with the cat-and-mouse chase through the ice. He told me when Fox saw that scene they went to Bluth and asked why the rest didn't look like that. That inadvertently led to Bluth Studios closing shop.

Sen. Ted Cruz stripped weather forecasting funds from Trump's megabill. Then the floods came. Among other things, he removed $150 million slated to improve modeling, predictions, and public communications.

On Tuesday, the Texas senator ensured the Republican spending bill slashed funding for weather forecasting, only to then go on vacation to Greece while his state was hit by deadly flooding, a disaster critics say was worsened by cuts to forecasting.
