An East Bay man had his first seizure while driving. When police arrived, they tased and arrested him
A man who said he crashed his car while having a seizure sued Hercules police, saying they tased and arrested him during a medical emergnecy.
One afternoon last April, Hercules resident Jack Bruce was driving home when he lost consciousness.
Bruce doesn’t remember what happened next. But two witnesses driving behind him saw his car drift right toward the shoulder, then topple down an embankment into a copse of small trees.
