It was around 9pm and I know they have quotas and are often closely monitored, so slowing down that much and being stuck behind another truck for very long could be a huge problem.

And, we have fucked-up joints. Even a near-miss like that can move things out of place, especially in the upper body.

💊So as we were approaching at speed (75mph), the last of the 3 decided to move into the left lane to get around the other two. I guess the driver didn't look.

They realized their mistake before fully moving in front of us, but we had to slam cut our speed in half within seconds to avoid a crash.

Within the last 15 minutes of today's drive, we were in the left lane (of 2 lanes) on I-40. Three semis were lined up in the right lane because the one in front had their hazards on & was going ~40mph
