Started AND finished Throne of Glass yesterday. Here is my Ethically Sized Review:
Y'all ever fall out of affection for someone and look at them just like, "Oh. What happened here?"
Should I start Discword or Throne of Glass series?
As far as why, I've always preferred ToTM for play unless I really had to, there's just something about sharing the world but also crafting it as the players ask questions that really makes it fun for me.
Stoat to talk, Roll20 for the rolls and mostly ToTM
Just finished reading Yume Kitasei's "The Deep Sky" in literally under 24 hours. In my Ethically Sized Review; I loved it. A mystery set on a generational spaceship, humans grappling with human emotions, relationships, and problems. Definitely recommended.
This is an alt account where I plan on not being so down and just enjoy the whimsy.
Anyone familiar with the #TravelerTTRPG?
If the note taker is there: specific and detailed items that they deemed important; determined by how the DM said things.
No Notetaker: Vibes
In my Space Game Era. Maybe I should learn No Man's Sky while I wait the 3 days it takes to download Starfield.
That's way cooler than what I'm pretty sure I was dreaming about. Lmao
If it makes you feel any better, I once wrote down my "super brilliant dream idea, literally the best idea I've ever had" and went to sleep. When I woke up and read it, it was "planes, but they buildings"
Crawl out through the fallout, baby
How would this even be made? Like, a company takes a poll of which cards to be made in a series or something?
Tell them you deserve to arrive exactly when you care to, and get paid for the whole day anyway.
Are there any #ChroniclesofDarkness fans on here? Specifically #GeisttheSin-Eaters. I am a huge fan of Geist the Sin-Eaters, but it is so damn niche lol
"Bro, can you quit T-baggin my Lucky Charms?"
It's like the only stable thing going in my life right now, missing playing the game. Lmao
Couldn't sleep, might as well play Bloodlines 2 for an hour to get sleepy.
I have literally lost all faith and interest in Xbox prior to this, this only buried the nail.
The first and last time I've played Fallout 4 Survival Mode, I made it 50 hours or so before I bumped into the side of a red car and immediately died for it.
Seems like a session 0 discussion. I secretly fudge when I don't want their deaths to be jarring or too difficult to Game back into life.
When Stoat starts getting the recognition and development of Discord, I'm diving headfirst into making a roleplay server.
Dedicated to a homebrew God and saw it was empty (10 on percentile), he decided to scream (got a nat 20) so loud that it shook the dust off the walls outside, and when no one responded he left. The Wizard walked in (90 on his roll) and found the entire group terrified and intimidated. //
#promosky D&D Story: My first character was designed to yell really loud and hit things really hard. He was a half-orc fighter named Gruntè but the "e" was invisible when you wrote it, and he was the main dmg output of a party of 8ish. One of my favorite moments was when he walked into a church 1/
Overlord and Spyro
I never had baked chicken taste so damn good. He told me about SYM and Tony's. And I have never stopped adding more and trying different ways of seasoning and flavoring.
I thank that man every time I cook, because he saved me a decade of bland bullshit. //
I remember when I was working overnight with a buddy and was just getting into cooking. I told him I wasn't a fan of baked chicken because it was always bland, "salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. That's what everyone says is needed"
The next night he offers to trade chickens, and y'all... 1/
I love the idea of World of Darkness, but I can never find a table, and just not sure how I'd do with the grit of WoD
