it might also be because animated movies are drawn so every frame is like a reminder that one person couldn’t have done all this while in live action stuff it appears to the lay man that they just pointed the camera at something and called it a day
the only exception is most high budget animated films and also the movie adaptation, the former is usually attributed to the studio a lot while the latter is mostly attributed to charlie kaufman the screenplay writer which is fair cause he is the main character of the movie tbh
it is kind of a weird but very common thing that when watching a really good movie or a show people end up separated into two groups: they either attribute everything to the director or attribute everything to the lead actor. nothing really wrong with that just something ive noticed a bit!
