I talked about this on TikTok but the notion of Vox loving one of his partners more than the other is always going to be “Yes he loves Alastor more” but it isn’t really a GOOD thing. Vox loves Alastor in a way that terrifies him and makes him worry how easily Al can destroy him n he still NEED him

Alastor is DELIGHTED but this deranged little girl and her murderous ambition.

I feel like once the intial shock wears off Vox’s also deranged brain is like “Hey my numbers have been dwindling recently and you’re a powerful demon maybe we can make a deal n you help me out-“

Initially he assumes Aux just has an imaginary friend when he hears her talking to him

Vox: Alastor’s an odd ass name where’d she pick that up?

But one night he checks on Aux before bed and there’s a 7ft deer demon in his daughters room-

The first person to make Aux feel like she’s enough is Vann
The first to tell her she’s enough is Alastor

Which is a weird feeling. Comforting. But weird.

Charlie n Emily are writing everything down and making themselves cheat sheets later.

Aux finds Charlie’s in the hotel eventually.

Aux: What is this?
Charlie:…Are you mad?
Aux: I haven’t decided yet. The accuracy is throwing my anger off.

It quickly becomes Alastor teaching Aux how to be a more efficient killer because he’s impressed she’s already developed a body count. Obviously he has his own fun with their victims.

He does suggest killing her father and taking his place as a more valuable mentor but she declines-

Aux laying in bed, the princess of hell on one side, one of the two seraphim on the other, both fast asleep with their hands entwined over Aux’s torso almost protectively.
