Which does lead to Charlie telling him he either WORKS with them/her (Al not respecting the supposed dom? Shocking behavior) or she’s not engaging because one it isn’t SAFE and two she isn’t enjoying the extent his pushing her (and to an extent how he can push Vox)

Alastor’s really testing Charlie’s patience which leads to some genuinely frustrating encounters where Alastor is either kicked out of the room (pushing boundaries too much, actively losing his composure, just a general misunderstanding/lack of respect for fucking SAFE WORDS) or the whole mood-

And definitely! I feel like a lot of Charlie’s toxic positivity is often her trying to do something good/helpful n think she just needs to keep toughing it out/being stubborn and when she begins to doubt herself.
