I lived so close to my SAT test site we regularly drove past it on the way to other things and it was still brutal being up that early without the 'you need the same things you need any other day' school routine.

Don’t get me started w/FASFA. If the kids are required to put my tax returns up for them to be qualified for aid, @ very least give them the interest rate I would be charged rather than hitting these kids with no credit history at the highest rate!

Around Seattle, there are so few test slots that most kids I know have to drive somewhere on Friday night, spend the night in a hotel, and then test. Madness.
Like I will get up and drive my kid but what about families where that is not possible?
