I’m in Washington DC, where a coalition of Minnesotans affected by the ICE surge are holding a press conference and meeting with lawmakers to oppose continued DHS/ICE funding.

Juan from Leo’s Towing, which is providing free tows for the cars left behind when people are detained by ICE, and others headed to meet with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ staff.

This happened multiple times while I was in the car with observers. In one case, agents led an observer to her own home. When they drove away, she continued following them. Minutes later, more agents showed up at her house and banged on the door. Her wife, terrified, pretended she wasn't home.

To commentate Valentine’s Day, community members and Recovery Bike Shop help put hearts along central at spots where our community members were taken. In the last 3 months at least 38 people have been taken around central Ave.

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.
