Trump got Amazon not to break out tariff costs, but it is going to be harder to hide the lay-offs, cutbacks, and other detrimental impacts of their tariff policy. Not to mention the loss of international tourism that belligerent bullying has caused.

The russians keep destroying Ukrainian cities and murdering Ukrainians.

The world is either doing too little to stop them, or is directly siding with them.

Countries that have banned additives, growth hormones, dyes et al also do not allow food to be imported from other countries, like the US, who allow them. If the US is serious about trade imbalances, then here is a market that can be gained rather than pounding a fist on the table & demanding entry.

Citizens of many countries including Canada, are already saying No FU & refusing to travel to the US. Intl tourism down billions already & Goldman Sachs Group Inc. estimates "in a worst-case scenario, the hit this year from reduced travel/boycotts could total almost $90 billion."

We will never capitulate.

Trump had to soften his continual commentary about annexing Canada as the 51st state after Canadians got so riled we pulled American products from shelves & cross border tourism plummeted. Trump needs a bully win over something as his losses are mounting.

Hands up those who have an "idea" they have liked, shared, commented on that runs counter to the Trump admin's naughty list. Imagine your phone in the hands of a bored or ideologically driven US border guard. And you are technically on US soil. Tourism from Canada down 30%. It will be 70% soon.

Good and timely reminder. Especially for those whose Canadian passports have a birth country on the Trump administration's target list. Like Iran.

The Trump administration is targeting countries like Canada and Australia for our pharmaceutical benefits in our national subsidized health care systems, and trying to tangle that up in his trade war talk. Quite simply because greater compassion for our citizen's health, makes the US look bad.

Going to take Rubio a couple more weeks to work out what the rest of the world has known for years, perfectly sums up the wilful blindness of the Trump administration.

And he still won't get it right two weeks from now.
