I just saw this when looking for my name and where I was quoted in the Saints articles - dying to know more if you remember!

NFL emails reveal extent of Saints’ damage control for clergy sex abuse crisis | CNN As New Orleans church leaders braced for the fallout from publishing a list of predatory Catholic priests, they turned to an unlikely ally: the front office of the city’s NFL franchise.

“This is disgusting,” said state Rep. Mandie Landry. “As a taxpayer and Catholic, it doesn’t make any sense to me why the Saints would go to these lengths to protect grown men who raped children. All of them should have been just as horrified at the allegations.”

Lately, SCOTUS' approach to abortion-related speech is that anti-abortion advocates have First Amendment rights and abortion providers/proponents do not. So "crisis pregnancy centers" can lie to patients, but real doctors cannot refuse to give patients anti-abortion propaganda pushed by the state.

Same with ESAs (education scam accounts). They want to defund schools, send the money to themselves, and destroy teacher unions.

 Current Records Custodian,

Under the Louisiana Public Records Act § 44:1 et seq., I am requesting copies of public records that include:

All communications (including text/voice messages, emails, complete email chains, calendar invitations, and attachments thereto) and all text message threads/conversations between any of the specified parties regarding the search items requested below:

Internal Individuals:

1. Sen Pressly

External Individuals:

1. Benjamin (may be styled as Ben) Clapper of LA Right to Life
2. Anyone else communicating on behalf of LA Right to Life

Legislative Instrument:

1. SB276 of the 2024 regular session

Please search between January 8, 2024 to the date the search is initiated.

Please search all locations and systems likely to have responsive records, regardless of format, medium, or physical characteristics. For instance, if the request seeks “communications,” please search all locations likely to contain communications, including relevant hard-copy files, correspondence files, appropriate locations on hard drives and shared drives, emails, text messages or other direct messaging systems (such as iMessage, WhatsApp, Signal, or Twitter direct messages), voicemail messages, instant messaging systems such as Lync or ICQ, and shared messages systems such as Slack. Mr. Cherry:

Attached please find an invoice for the documents you requested. The search produced 109 pages responsive to your request. Of that number, 85 pages were privileged. The Senator declined to waive his privilege. The invoice represents 24 pages of documents which are responsive to your request. Once payment is received, we will send the documents to you. According to a secretly recorded conversation between Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill and journalist Lauren Windsor, LARTL is responsible for writing legislation for the state. A screenshot obtained from an anonymous source shows LARTL Executive Director Benjamin Clapper in a group message with several lawmakers in 2022. Clapper wanted to discuss changes to the abortion law with at least Rep. Laurie Schlegel, Rep. Sharon Hewitt, and Sen. Katrina Jackson, though other lawmakers were in the group chat. Also present in the group chat was someone named Gene Mills, which may be Director Gene Mills of the Louisiana Family Forum, though his messages were redacted.

I love when I request needed public info, like communications between a state Senator and an anti-abortion lobbyist, and I'm only allowed to see 24 of 109 documents.

What are they talking about that I can't see?👀 Are they writing more of our anti-abortion policies? (see third pic; my reporting)

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.

I brought my nephew to the #Mufasa movie; the messaging was great. Overall, it shows kids how strong we all are when we stand FOR & WITH each other.

Now we’re watching Shrek Forever After for the first time. Fiona leading the resistance! I nearly cried. 🏆

Balance to the hate they see in the news.
