I actually agree with him. First we start with Thomas and Alito, who benefited financially from unreported gifts. Then Kavanagh for blatantly lying in his hearings. And then Cannon for being an incompetent toadie

I feel like the best thing Democrats can do is to bullet-proof voting, but I’m sure that if Democrats flip any seats in 2026, DHS will come up with a reason to invalidate the results

I haven’t seen it. It’s gotten such raves, and a colleague loved it. Just curious as to why you weren’t impressed. If you’ve posted on this elsewhere, my apologies.

Incredible. And didn’t she hate Laughton?

I’m with you! My guess is that store managers/personnel don’t want confrontations that show up on social media and tarnish their brands. So they don’t engage. That leaves the actual health authorities and/or law enforcement, and I imagine it’s a low priority for them

A great movie. FYI, about five years ago I asked a guy who was nearly 100 what movie stars he liked as a young person. “Kay Johnson” was the first name he said

Joan Crawford’s first film entitled “Possessed” premiered on this day in 1931. It’s one of my favorites of hers
